What Mom Really Wants For Mother’s Day
Ok, so maybe I can’t speak for all of the moms out there, but I for one would super duper appreciate three main things:
- Reassurance that I’m not totally screwing things up
- Acknowledgement and appreciation for all of the millions of behind-the-scenes things that I do to keep my family machine well-oiled and running
- Answers to the most eternal of all questions: “What’s for dinner?”
Only you can provide the first two things to the mother/future mother/pseudo mother/mother figure/woman you love, but I can and would absolutely love to help you with that third item!
I am not shy about my love for Food Network Magazine. For the past ten years this magazine has been my answer to the dreaded What’s For Dinner question. It has inspired me to try new things, learn new things, and become a better cook and baker.
In future posts, I will go into greater detail about the things I love the most about this magazine, because there are too many things to include right now!
I sincerely love this magazine, and if it can ease anyone else’s mealtime burdens as much as it has mine, I sincerely want that too.
I’m so excited to be able to offer a discounted subscription to this awesome cooking resource! Click here to get a one-year subscription to Food Network Magazine for just $10–that’s only $1 per issue!!
So here’s what you should do: click on the link above, snag a magazine subscription for your mom (and one for you while you’re at it!), buy the May issue that is on newsstands right now, stick a bow on it, and present it to your mom tomorrow with a hug and a kiss and a Thank You So Much For All That You Do.
(And also point her in my direction, obviously.)
Easy Peasy!
I want to wish a very happy Mother’s Day to all of the women out there, I truly hope your day is filled with joy and love and appreciation for all that you do and all that you are!
