Tortellini Caprese Salad
Why is everything so much cuter in miniature form?
A ball of good mozzarella is gorgeous; lil mozzarella pearls are adorable.
Tomatoes are beautiful; baby grape/cherry tomatoes are super cute.
The best part of using already itty-bitty food in a salad is that everything is already bite-sized!
A good Caprese salad is one of life’s simple pleasures, and the addition of cheese-filled tortellini only improves upon that salad perfection!
This recipe uses white balsamic vinegar, which has a milder flavor than its traditional, darker cousin.
Personally I found it too mild, and ended up drizzling the dark stuff on my salad before eating it.
Use whichever balsamic fits your taste, either way it will be delicious and super cute!
